Archive 25/014 is a tribute to the quiet luxury of history. The soul of the piece is its 1990s Italian suede, a legacy material rescued for its superior density and soft, matte finish—qualities rarely found in modern production. Unlike mass-produced accessories, this bag utilizes the natural weight of this archival leather to provide a soft yet confident structure.
The character of the bag is defined by its tension between textures: the organic softness of the suede, the light-catching 1980s vintage gold clasp, and the intricate Archive Bloom charm sculpted by hand. Inside, a hidden pocket of vintage brocade offers a private moment of discovery. Hand-assembled by Emanuele Bianco, this Ophelia is a 1-of-1 bridge between forgotten premium materials and contemporary functional design."
Designer´s note: "I discovered this specific material during a trip to Sicily, tucked away in an old shop selling remnants from different decades. The color captured me instantly; it is a rare shade to find, with an incredible, immersive depth. My first thought was of a warm pink reminiscent of an old Apulian masseria in Salento—a hue I have not been able to find anywhere else since. This is a truly remarkable piece of leather, and whoever carries it possesses a fragment of that sun-drenched Mediterranean history." — E.B.
