“True luxury is found in the magic of the human hand, transforming the forgotten into the irreplicable”.
ABOUT US
Luxury Scraps was founded by the designer Emanuel Bianco on the radical belief that the most exquisite objects are those that cannot be replicated. In an era of mass production, we have chosen to slow down, reimagining the potential of what has been left behind. Driven by curiosity and intent, our practice focuses on craftily curated pieces that honor the soul of the material.
Each creation is hand-signed and documented with a unique archive number and a certificate of authenticity, ensuring its provenance within the Luxury Scraps history.
Our mission is to breathe "magic" into the forgotten—transforming vintage textiles, deadstock fabrics, and discarded remnants into modern, high-fashion silhouettes. We do not see waste; we see the foundation for something extraordinary. Every piece is entirely handmade in Italy by the designer, redefining the concept of Italian modern elegance.
For us, imperfection is a hallmark of authenticity. The subtle irregularities in our work are the signatures of a human touch, reminding us that true luxury is defined by how it is made, where it comes from, and the hands that shaped it.
Luxury Scraps is designed for the individual who seeks the "out of the ordinary"—someone who values a garment that is as unique and irreplicable as they are. This is luxury out of nothing; an elevated, sustainable approach to fashion that proves anything is possible when you create with intention.
ABOUT THE DESIGNER - His return to the Origin
My journey began in Sardinia—an island defined by its rugged beauty and a profound heritage of artisanal craft. Growing up, I didn't just want to design; I was hungry to create with my own hands.
That hunger led me first to the poetry of structure, studying Architecture in Copenhagen and working with Henning Larsen. It then pulled me to London, where I refined the technical arts of fashion at Central Saint Martins and Kingston University. For years, I shaped narratives through spaces and garments, building visual worlds for film sets with Disney, Apple TV, and Marvel Studios, and honing the meticulous arts of embroidery and material manipulation inside many ateliers of the likes of Mary Katrantzou and Antonio Marras in Sardinia, Italy.
Yet, amidst the rush of the high-fashion industry, I realized that the soul of an object often gets lost between the factory floor and the retail rack. I felt a visceral pull back to the magic of the process.
Luxury Scraps is my return to the origin.
I do not just oversee a brand; I am the craftsman at the center of it. Working between the raw, authentic landscapes of Sardinia and Apulia, Italy, I source the forgotten remnants of luxury materials. I plan the geometry, I cut, I sew, and I finish.
To me, a product is not a commodity; it is a thought given form—an extension of my own hands. Through a deeply human process, raw material becomes an unrepeatable artifact. My hope is that these pieces bring a different dimension to your world: an intimate approach to luxury that honors the craft as much as the creator.
Made by hand. Born from remnants. Designed for a new dimension.
