  • The Artifact

Designed and entirely hand-constructed by Emanuel Bianco. Grounded in Scandinavian architectural discipline and honed within the high-fashion ateliers of London and Milan, Luxury Scraps is a return to the origin of pure craft. Born in Sardinia and assembled in Apulia, this piece is a visceral, unrepeatable artifact—engineered with the precision of a structural designer, but crafted with the soul of an artisan.

    The Materials

A study in geometry and draping. Archive N25/022 is a 1-of-1 modular garment that challenges the traditional boundaries of tailoring. This piece is the result of a deliberate collection of vintage components—curated pieces that have been gathered and transformed into a singular, timeless object.

The design is an exploration of layers, featuring a sheer underlay juxtaposed against a structured outer shell that has been artfully deconstructed. Through this innovative draping, the shirt modernly sculpts the body, offering a playful yet sophisticated take on formal aesthetics. Engineered for multiple lives, it can be styled as a complex, textured ensemble or worn as separate layers, adapting to the mood of the wearer. It is a testament to the Luxury Scraps mission: rescuing the forgotten and re-structuring it into the irreplicable.

All materials for this garment have been carefully regenerated and repurposed to create a unique, artisanal and one of a kind piece, impossible to replicate. Handmade in italy by the designer Emanuel Bianco.

  • BECAUSE THIS PIECE FEATURES A COMPLEX CONSTRUCTION—INCLUDING SHEER JUXTAPOSED LAYERS AND A STRUCTURED OUTER SHELL—PROPER CARE IS ESSENTIAL TO PRESERVE THE FABRIC'S DRAPE AND THE INTEGRITY OF THE FRONT BOW.

HAND WASH OR DELICATE CYCLE: TO PROTECT THE SHEER UNDERLAYERS AND THE INTRICATE BUTTON DETAILING AT THE BACK, WE RECOMMEND HAND WASHING IN COLD WATER OR USING A "DELICATE" MACHINE CYCLE INSIDE A MESH LAUNDRY BAG.

USE MILD DETERGENT: USE A GENTLE, PH-NEUTRAL DETERGENT TO PREVENT THE VISCOSE FIBERS FROM WEAKENING OR LOSING THEIR SOFT, SILK-LIKE HANDLE.

AVOID THE DRYER: NEVER TUMBLE DRY. HEAT CAN CAUSE VISCOSE TO SHRINK AND MAY DAMAGE THE SYNTHETIC FIBERS OF THE SHEER POLYESTER LAYERS. LAY THE SHIRT FLAT ON A CLEAN TOWEL TO AIR DRY AWAY FROM DIRECT SUNLIGHT.

COOL IRON OR STEAM: IF NEEDED, USE A GARMENT STEAMER TO REFRESH THE LAYERS. IF USING AN IRON, SELECT A COOL SETTING AND IRON ON THE REVERSE SIDE TO AVOID CREATING "SHINE" MARKS ON THE FABRIC.

BUTTON AND TIE MAINTENANCE: BEFORE WASHING, ENSURE THE BACK BUTTONS ARE FASTENED AND THE FRONT BOW IS UNTIED TO PREVENT SNAGGING.

STORAGE: STORE ON A HANGER TO MAINTAIN THE SPLIT-SHELL STRUCTURE. AVOID HIGH-MOISTURE ENVIRONMENTS, AS VISCOSE IS HIGHLY ABSORBENT AND CAN LOSE ITS SHAPE IF IT STAYS DAMP.
