The Artifact
Designed and entirely hand-constructed by Emanuel Bianco. Grounded in Scandinavian architectural discipline and honed within the high-fashion ateliers of London and Milan, Luxury Scraps is a return to the origin of pure craft. Born in Sardinia and assembled in Apulia, this piece is a visceral, unrepeatable artifact—engineered with the precision of a structural designer, but crafted with the soul of an artisan.
The Materials
A dialogue of currents. Archive N25/018 is a 1-of-1 sculptural dress that bridges the organic movement of the Mediterranean with the sharp precision of vintage graphic design. The piece was born from a rare find—a pleated fabric in an elusive shade of sunset pink, discovered and rescued to be transformed into a modern silhouette.
The dress is an intricate assemblage of history, featuring vintage taffeta and 1950s ribbons sourced from long-forgotten archival stocks. At its core is the "Wave" motif—a complex appliqué technique now almost exclusively reserved for the world of Haute Couture. This graphic element is inspired by both the rhythmic swell of the sea and the minimalist elegance of vintage Japanese motifs. While the front presents a fragile sweetness, the back reveals a daring architecture of deep splits and velvet-trimmed openings, creating a silhouette that is at once ethereal and powerfully sexy.The Eros Dress is a strap dress defined by soft pleats and a fluid, elongated silhouette. Cut to follow the natural lines of the body, it drapes lightly from the shoulders, whilst daring and revealing cuts at the back create a daring impact. Crafted from rescued luxury materials, it reflects a unique approach to design, material, and form.
All materials for this garment have been carefully regenerated and repurposed to create a unique, artisanal and one of a kind piece, impossible to replicate. Handmade in italy by the designer Emanuel Bianco.
