  • The Artifact

Designed and entirely hand-constructed by Emanuel Bianco. Grounded in Scandinavian architectural discipline and honed within the high-fashion ateliers of London and Milan, Luxury Scraps is a return to the origin of pure craft. Born in Sardinia and assembled in Apulia, this piece is a visceral, unrepeatable artifact—engineered with the precision of a structural designer, but crafted with the soul of an artisan.

    The Materials

The ultimate expression of the Luxury Scraps philosophy. Archive N25/016 is the most labor-intensive object in the collection—a 1-of-1 jacket that serves as a monument to the "slow-made" movement. The foundation is a rare vintage 1990s upholstery basketweave, chosen for its industrial strength and complex tonal depth.

What defines this piece as a collector’s item is the devotion to the handmade detail. Every braid and fringe adorning the silhouette was created through an arduous process of hand-unraveling the archival fabric, thread by thread. This method requires hours of manual precision to reclaim the raw fibers before weaving them back into the garment's architecture. It is a ritual of deconstruction and rebirth that ensures no two centimeters of fringe are identical.

The jacket’s utilitarian soul is grounded by heavy silver hardware and a robust metal zip closure, featuring a sophisticated four-pocket system: two sculptural front flap pockets for presence and two discreet side pockets for functionality. Inside, a generous Italian wool lining provides a hidden layer of substantial warmth. This is not merely a garment; it is a heavy-weight textile sculpture, hand-finished in Italy for those who value the luxury of time.

All materials for this garment have been carefully regenerated and repurposed to create a unique, artisanal and one of a kind piece, impossible to replicate. Handmade in italy by the designer Emanuel Bianco.
