  • The Artifact

Designed and entirely hand-constructed by Emanuel Bianco. Grounded in Scandinavian architectural discipline and honed within the high-fashion ateliers of London and Milan, Luxury Scraps is a return to the origin of pure craft. Born in Sardinia and assembled in Apulia, this piece is a visceral, unrepeatable artifact—engineered with the precision of a structural designer, but crafted with the soul of an artisan.

    The Materials

A dialogue of depth and transparency. Archive N25/015 is a 1-of-1 sculptural dress that celebrates the art of rescue and the intoxicating allure of vintage burnout textiles. The soul of this piece is a spectacular vintage devoré silk, salvaged from a late 1960s caftan. This technique, which "burns" away fibers to create a semi-transparent wave motif, plays elegantly with the skin, offering a sophisticated transparency that shifts with every move.

The bodice is a masterclass in artisanal assembly, meticulously constructed from a collage of vintage ribbons, black velvet trim, and taffeta remnants. These structured elements are juxtaposed with the ethereal lightness of hand-pleated silk organza, adding a sharp, architectural rhythm to the front of the garment. Continuing the designer’s signature narrative, the dress features adjustable back ties—a forever obsession with the vintage apron—which allow for a custom fit while framing a daring, modern back silhouette. This is an irreplicable piece where the history of the 1960s meets the precision of contemporary couture.

All materials for this garment have been carefully regenerated and repurposed to create a unique, artisanal and one of a kind piece, impossible to replicate. Handmade in italy by the designer Emanuel Bianco.

STORAGE: STORE ON A PADDED HANGER TO AVOID SNAGGING THE DELICATE SILK. KEEP IN A COOL, DRY PLACE AWAY FROM DIRECT SUNLIGHT TO PREVENT THE FABRIC FROM WEAKENING.

STEAMING: IF NEEDED, USE A HANDHELD STEAMER ON A LOW SETTING. AVOID DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE FABRIC; KEEP THE STEAMER A FEW INCHES AWAY TO RELAX ANY WRINKLES IN THE SILK OR ORGANZA.

AVOID PERFUMES: APPLY PERFUME AND HAIRSPRAY BEFORE DRESSING, AS THE CHEMICALS AND OILS CAN STAIN OR DAMAGE THE SILK FIBERS.
