The Artifact
Designed and entirely hand-constructed by Emanuel Bianco. Grounded in Scandinavian architectural discipline and honed within the high-fashion ateliers of London and Milan, Luxury Scraps is a return to the origin of pure craft. Born in Sardinia and assembled in Apulia, this piece is a visceral, unrepeatable artifact—engineered with the precision of a structural designer, but crafted with the soul of an artisan.
The Materials
A study in light and movement. Archive 25/009 is a 1-of-1 sculptural piece born from a sensory dialogue with its materials. Upon discovering the vintage early 2000s sequined fabric, its surface immediately evoked the rhythmic glimmer of the sea during a Mediterranean summer—a constant play of reflection and fluid motion.
To ground this ethereal shimmer, the skirt features a trim of upcycled rabbit fur, rescued from a vintage Italian coat of the 1990s. This contrast between the cool, crystalline sequins and the soft, tactile warmth of the archival fur creates a timeless dialogue between different eras of Italian luxury. Designed with an irregular hemline and an adjustable side-tie, the garment is engineered to be twisted and sculpted around the body, allowing the wearer to play with the game of revealing and hiding. It is an irreplicable fragment of texture, reimagined for a modern silhouette.
All materials for this garment have been carefully regenerated and repurposed to create a unique, artisanal and one of a kind piece, impossible to replicate. Handmade in italy by the designer Emanuel Bianco.

ANTI-SNAGGING STORAGE: STORE THE SKIRT INSIDE-OUT IN A BREATHABLE COTTON GARMENT BAG. THIS PREVENTS THE SEQUINS FROM SNAGGING ON OTHER ITEMS IN YOUR WARDROBE AND PROTECTS THE INTRICATE BLACK TRIM.
